Dr. Anthony Raju Applauds CBCI’s Tribute to His Holiness Pope Francis


New Delhi / Dubai — “Paying tribute to His Holiness Pope Francis by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) is a highly commendable and holistic gesture,” said Dr. Anthony Raju, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, and Chairman of the Indian National Human Rights Protection Council as well as the National Legal Council for Peace, Tolerance, and Humanity, Dubai, UAE.


Dr. Raju emphasized that Pope Francis’s message of compassion, inclusivity, and peace has been a beacon of hope for millions across the globe. He lauded the CBCI for recognizing the Pope’s invaluable contributions to humanity, particularly in promoting human dignity, interfaith harmony, and global peace.


“This tribute not only honors the Pope’s spiritual and moral leadership but also reaffirms our collective commitment to the values of peace, tolerance, and universal brotherhood,” Dr. Raju added.
